About the VIMY Awards & Live Auction Volunteers in Medicine has some exciting news about our 2024 event. We are pleased to announce that our 2024 VIMY Awards will be held at The Show at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa Rancho Mirage! And to top off the evening, we are honoring this year's community VIMY Award, KESQ Meteorologist Patrick Evans! VIM Executive Director, Doug Morin, shared, “This event is an important one for us as our primary fundraising event each year. To recognize Patrick Evans for the tremendous impact he has made by giving of his time, talent, and supports to the valley’s nonprofit and healthcare organizations.” The VIMY Award recognizes an individual or organization who has made significant contributions to healthcare in our Coachella Valley. Prior honorees include Howard Lincoln, Desert Healthcare District & Foundation and Dr. Ronald Hare, local businessman and philanthropist. We are excited to announce entertainment by the Rat Pack Tribute Show in honor of Frank Sinatra's birthday.
