Helping Patients Reach The Care They Need

For many of the uninsured adults served by CVVIM, access to healthcare is about more than finding a doctor. It is about getting there.

A missed appointment can mean delayed treatment, unmanaged chronic disease, worsening health conditions, or an unnecessary trip to the emergency room. For patients living on very limited incomes, the cost of transportation can become a barrier to receiving the care they need.

Faith in Motion brings congregations together to help remove that barrier.

Through simple acts of generosity, faith communities can help ensure that patients have access to transportation for medical appointments, specialty care, diagnostic testing, and other essential healthcare services. Every gift helps connect a neighbor in need with life-changing care.

Ways to Participate:
Pass the Plate

A congregation may choose to hold a special offering in support of patient transportation. Whether conducted annually, quarterly, during a holiday service, or at another time of your choosing, Pass the Plate provides a meaningful opportunity for a faith community to turn compassion into action.

Notes of Hope:

Through Notes of Hope, congregants make individual gifts of $10 or more and include a personal note of encouragement, hope, prayer, or support.

The gifts are placed into individual, unsealed envelopes along with the handwritten notes and shared with CVVIM. Together, these simple messages and acts of generosity remind patients that their community cares about their health, well-being, and future.

One offering can help patients overcome a critical obstacle on their journey to better health.

A small gift can help provide transportation.

A note of hope can remind someone they are not facing their challenges alone.

Recognition & Celebration

CVVIM is grateful for the partnership and generosity of our faith community supporters.

With your congregation's permission, participating faith communities may be recognized through:

  • Features on CVVIM's social media channels
  • Recognition in the CVVIM newsletter, distributed to more than 2,500 supporters and community members
  • Acknowledgment on the CVVIM website
  • Recognition at selected CVVIM events and community presentations

We are honored to celebrate congregations that help remove transportation barriers and ensure uninsured patients can access the healthcare they need.

Recognition opportunities are always optional and are provided only with the congregation's approval.

Put Faith Into Motion

Your congregation can help ensure that transportation challenges do not stand between a patient and the healthcare they need.

Whether through a special offering, a collection of Notes of Hope, or another act of generosity, your faith community can make a meaningful difference in the lives of uninsured individuals throughout the Coachella Valley and Greater Morongo Basin.
