How to Get Involved
Medical volunteers are essential to the care provided by Coachella Valley Volunteers in Medicine, and it is easy with minimal commitment to give back at CVVIM.
- • Minimum of one 4-6 hour shift
- • No cost professional liability protection
- • Clinic locations in Palm Springs or Indio
We are seeking medical volunteers such as MDs, NPs and PAs, who will be credentialed by CVVIM – a process that usually takes between 4 to 8 weeks. After that, professional liability insurance of up to $1 million per occurrence will be provided at no cost to them by the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) through HRSA. All licensed providers, regardless of your profession, must be licensed to practice in the State of California.
